Meet Pamela Star, Ed.S, NCSP: Over a decade of experience working in public school systems inspired her to become an advocate, empowering families to secure the education their child deserves. With her background in School Psychology, Pamela knows exactly what data schools need to qualify students for supports. Who better to advocate for your child than someone with intimate knowledge of school politics, who can cut through the red tape and represent your child’s needs? Her goal is to empower you to find your voice at the IEP table. Pamela’s approach to advocacy is child-centered, data-driven, and collaborative.
I want to reduce the stress and intimidation that often comes with trying to navigate the education system alone. Services include: Psycho-educational evaluations, Educational records review, IEP/504 Meeting prep/attendance, Program placement consultation, Parent coaching, Compensatory education, Classroom observations, and more.
Think of Pamela as your coach and cheerleading squad, all in one. She can show you the steps needed to understand and advocate for your child's needs, complete certain tasks on your behalf, and build your confidence through each milestone. Every family has unique needs, and her job is to evaluate those needs and assist in navigating the way forward.
