Erika earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Dakota. She is licensed at the independent level as a clinical social worker. Erika has experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

I provide therapy for adolescents and adults ages 16-40. I believe in meeting clients where they are and guiding them as they work toward their individual goals and needs. I am very open to processing anything that a client brings to our time together and exploring underlying issues related to trauma. I work with clients to discover the root of their symptoms and identify how those symptoms are impacting their life and daily functioning. I also help clients discover useful coping skills to further promote their ability to cope and improve daily functioning.

I am passionate in helping individuals achieve their goals and reach their full potential. I specialize in working with adults dealing with a multitude of issues including: trauma/PTSD, dissociative disorders (DID), depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, interpersonal communication, divorce, and adjustment/transitions.

I help older teens and adults reprocess and distance the pains of past hurts and traumas. Clients who engage in therapy with me are tired of big emotions jumbling up their life and are tired of memories stealing their precious moments of time. Clients are able to reprocess painful and traumatic memories and start living life again without the sting of those troubling memories.

As a therapist for over 25 years, I have learned that building a relationship with my clients is most important. Making the decision to come to therapy is difficult, and building trust is a priority. I want to walk with my clients on their journey of healing, focusing on strengths and learning new skills. I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from North Dakota State University and am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.

Chelle's expertise lies in providing support and guidance to individuals ages 12 and up, facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and issues pertinent to the LGBTQI+ community. She understands the unique nuances of each situation and tailors her approach to meet the diverse needs of her clients.

I provide an empathetic and compassionate practice with an interest in supporting adults and adolescents across all genders in their mental health journey. I aim to foster a safe environment to help clients from different cultural backgrounds explore their emotions, beliefs, and experiences, whether that comes from a religious standpoint or a universal one. From motherhood to relationship issues to identity exploration, my goal is to encourage personal growth while also empathizing the importance of mutual respect and equality to those who feel unvalued and misunderstood.

I've been actively counseling with people for several years. I'm easy to get along with and I help individuals to feel as comfortable as possible with life issues that are uncomfortable.
