I specialize in adolescent issues, disruptive mood disorders, anger management, and depression and anxiety. I also treat children and adult survivors of childhood trauma through a DBT, psychodynamic, and CBT Trauma focus approach. I have a lot of experience and enjoy working with young adults with self-esteem problems, relationship issues, and difficulty finding direction in their lives. My goal is to help change the attitudes and perceptions of parents and adolescents, thus changing their behavior.

My areas of expertise are pre-marital therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. I am well-versed in military specific issues, as I contracted at various installations for six years. I work with clients 16-100 years old. I am EMDR basic trained and use tough skills with anxious and traumatized clients. Most of my clients have relationship issues due to past traumas that have not been processed.

I’ve been in the mental health field for over 20 years and have been providing clinical care since 2011. I’ve worked with first responders crisis settings and provided services to first responders in a therapeutic environment. I work a lot with domestic violence, sexual trauma, and human trafficking. I pull from several modalities including CBT, trauma-focused CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, solutions focused, strength-based, and reality therapy.
