I believe that most people have the answers within themselves to work through their own problems - my role is to be there with you through the process. I have experience helping people who are struggling with anxiety and depression, or who are numbing out through substance use. My clients are often working through life transitions and other challenging situations, such as relationship issues, grief, or chronic pain. Perhaps you have not been handling your emotions very well. You may even feel hopeless, or unsure how to articulate what you are feeling. Therapy is a collaborative journey to a more healthy state of mind.

Believe it or not, you'd be surprised at how many of us have walked in similar shoes and we would never know.
If you're scrolling this website because you know you need help, but you don't know where to start. You're in the right place and I feel confident I can help you. As a husband, believer, and person with hearing loss, I get it, life is far from easy. I've had my fair share of challenges navigating the ups and downs of life with no clear roadmap. I also remember my days of not believing counseling could help me and then I started my journey to becoming a therapist and my life changed.

The body, mind and spirit have natural proclivity for self-healing, but sometimes we get stuck. I believe my role is to simply aid in this natural process while helping to identify and devise a plan to overcome barriers to our innate drive toward wellness. I’ve been in the hu man services field for fifteen years I have worked with diverse populations including children in a psychiatric facility, adults experiencing homelessness, veterans with PTSD and adults dealing with challenges from common life stressors to serious mental illness in private practice.

We all learn to adapt to our environment as children. Sometimes, these adaptations become less helpful later in life. I approach therapy from a psychodynamic and relational orientation, believing that through a genuine and authentic relationship in the therapeutic space, we can come to make more conscious and free decisions. As each person has a unique subjective experience of their concerns, the therapeutic journey will ultimately be a collaborative and likewise unique one. What is always present is a space of empathy, curiosity, and safety – a space where individuals feel able to be vulnerably themselves.

I believe that deep, integrated healing is possible for every person that steps into my office. Sometimes we need an outside perspective and designated space to focus on our healing. I hope to hold this space for my clients and would be honored to support you in your journey. Whether you are exploring aspects of your identity, seeking support in healing from personal, intergenerational, or communal trauma, in recovery from disordered eating patterns, exploring neuro-divergence, or needing a non-judgmental space that promotes personal fulfillment and growth, I am here to support your process.

Choosing the right therapist can be a difficult decision; especially when they're working so closely with you or your child. You want someone who listens, understands and hears your concerns but is also supportive and nurturing. Let me begin by stating that I provide a safe environment where I incorporate empathy, encouragement, and laughter as part of the therapy process. But most importantly I believe in building a relationship with every person is the key to the healing process.

Healing is possible. Every one of us has the capacity to heal that lies within us. Due to our childhood and life experiences, our minds sometimes start telling us that we are less than worthy of love. But we are worthy; our healing journey rests in finding that self love and fountain of being. Habit patterns inside of our minds can become challenges to our well-being. We tend to look at sources outside of ourselves for the answers, but they already lie within. “You are the architect of your life.” -Swami Rama

Are you struggling with feelings of inadequacy, low confidence, or self-esteem issues? These challenges can profoundly impact your decisions and overall outlook on life. I know that life’s journey includes both highs and lows, influenced by our genetic disposition, social circle, and unique experiences. When you’re stuck in a low, it can be difficult to find a way out on your own.

Hello, and welcome! I fully believe that every person brings an individualistic perspective to the table - Shaped by their own identities, experiences, and challenges. It's most important to create a space where we can explore unique solutions together and model healthy communication and relationships. My hope is that we explore emotions, practice vulnerability, and work towards personal goals together. I also acknowledge how my identities and statuses of privilege show up and I intentionally operate with an anti-racism lens to help empower clients to show up authentically.
