You’ve struggled to find time to make a weekly therapy appointment to cope with the isolation, overwhelm, anxiety, and so many other feelings. Taking a really good deep breath sounds so simple, yet you often forget to take 10-seconds in order to care for yourself. You’re tired of taking care of everyone else, feeling overwhelmed, unorganized, heart constantly racing, or have an unending headache. Your shoulders and neck are so tight. Your stomach has it's own issues. It is exhausting to try to function this way. This is where EMDR Intensive come into play. About a week of your time, compared to one time a week for who knows how long.
I specialize in EMDR Intensives related to anxiety, trauma, depression, early childhood trauma & other traumatic life events, including COVID. Imagine waking up and being excited to start your day just like before this pandemic. You are not nervous about going out and being around other people, getting back into the routine of work or school.
EMDR Intensives are usually 5 sessions over 1-2 weeks. You get a personalized workbook to help us expedite the process. Therapy could be expedited by months. A 5 day intensive might help resolve 4-6 months of weekly therapy. Not interested in Intensives, I also see clients for weekly sessions.
