We are accepting new clients! My name is Nora Weiser and I specialize in trauma therapy. I understand that trauma can significantly impact your physical, mental, and emotional well-being, often leading to symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD. In our work together, we will focus on reducing your distress and improving your symptoms by tapping into your inner strength and developing effective coping strategies. I am passionate about working with survivors of sexual and domestic violence and am excited about empowering clients to utilize their inherent wisdom and strength.
With a Master of Social Work and specialized training in EMDR through EMDRIA, I am well-equipped to assist you in processing difficult memories and reshaping negative self-beliefs. EMDR therapy can be particularly effective in alleviating emotional distress and promoting healing. I also incorporate CBT and DBT to provide you with tools to manage distress.
I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment. I am passionate about collaborating with clients in the therapeutic process, empowering them to take steps toward healing by utilizing their inherent wisdom and strengths.
