I often tell my clients that finding a therapist is like buying a new pair of shoes; sometimes you have to try on a few different sizes and styles before you find the best fit. My style is empathic and understanding, yet straight-forward and honest. I help my clients get unstuck and move forward, while providing feedback that is productive and manageable. You and I can work together to come up with ways to meet your goals for therapy, along with acquiring insight into your behaviors, thoughts, and feelings. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Supervisor and my specialties include Eating Disorders and Trauma.
I have worked in the eating disorder field since 2010 and have almost completed basic EMDR training. This has allowed me to conceptualize cases in a different way and provide support to a wide-range of clients.
I have worked with patients in Psychiatric Hospitals and Partial Hospitalization Programs. I have also worked in Day Treatment and Intensive Outpatient Treatment programs for young adults struggling with Eating Disorders. I am an active member of IAEDP, the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.

We offer several support groups for those in recovery or needing more support for an eating disorder. Group members will work on identifying the emotions underlying their eating disorders, discuss how body image impacts their behaviors, self-talk, and emotions and explore barriers to recovery. All groups are virtual at this time. Current offerings: Teen: Wednesdays 7-8pm; On waitlist for Adult ED groups.

This group is open to all women who identify ways that past traumas have impacted their every day lens. This could be in the form of core beliefs, past/current relationships, values, PTSD symptoms and more. Members can expect to build connections with each other while tapping into their innate resilience to empower them to thrive after trauma. Current group offering is on Mondays from 5:30-6:45pm.
