My name is Nolan Butler, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I specialize in working with couples and individuals in finding ways to cope with and manage common daily stressors, as well as the major life events that can turn one's lives upside down. I strive to provide a nonjudgmental space where clients can feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and feelings, as well as finding the motivation to work through life's toughest challenges.
I utilize a wide range of therapeutic approaches to therapy depending on what the current situation requires. However, I prefer to utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), The Gottman Method Couples Therapy to name a few of my approaches.
I approach therapy with warm, unconditional positive regard. As mentioned earlier, I strive to provide a safe and nonjudgmental platform for the client to feel comfortable in discussing the issues that are causing them distress. Many clients have reported that I am easy to work with due to my "laid back and easy going" demeanor.
