I love working with people who have become weary of feeling stuck and are motivated for change. Chances are, if you're looking for a therapist then you're ready to be un-stuck. Clients I work with are willing to engage in self-exploration in spite of fear, they are open to learning and finding solutions, and they understand that sometimes a therapist's duty is to bring something to their awareness that may cause discomfort.
My goal is that you always feel heard. I understand everyone is unique, and even when different people have similar problems the reactions to these may differ, and so may the timelines for change. I primarily use CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Faith can also be incorporated into therapy based on client choice.
I've known what it's like to feel stuck, and this helps me relate to others on a human level, without judgment, and not just as a professional. I offer a welcoming space for you to tell your story and approach your problems without judgment.
