My goal is to create a calming and supportive environment for my clients and their families. I have an extensive background with children and adolescents, specifically dealing with anxiety, depression, self harming behaviors, school refusal, and peer related issues. My style of therapy is very relationship based and focuses on building trust, improving self esteem, and finding healthy ways to get one’s needs met. Additionally, I believe in empowering the client to self- soothe and create problem solving solutions.

I gravitate to working with people who think a lot, which often translated to intellectuals or perfectionists. I find meaning in supporting clients who are experiencing the effects of trauma, anxiety, overthinking, and especially children and adolescents. I believe that a warm, trusting relationship is what heals us. When we feel seen, and our voices are heard, we are able to be who we are meant to be.
