I have over 20 years of clinical experience in diverse areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. I'm devoted to delivering personalized care through individual, couples/marriage, family and group therapy services. Additionally, I'm a certified facilitator of Prepare/Enrich Pre-marital and marital counseling, Trauma-Focused CBT and other treatment modalities.

I believe that the most important part of helping a client relates to the development of trust between the client and therapist. It is essential to create an emotionally safe environment and demonstrate unconditional acceptance regarding the client's emotional experience. I am holistically oriented and use an integrative eclectic approach to treatment. I believe that the body and mind are inter-related. The therapeutic approach might focus at times on improving nutrition, exercise, and even self-appreciation. Therapeutic techniques may include aspects of: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Problem Solving Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, NLP, Art, Movement, and even Hypnosis.

Family Therapy & Consultation Services provides individual therapy, family therapy, marriage counseling, art therapy and medication management at our NJ offices in Woodbury, Audubon, & Moorestown. Our mission is to strengthen individuals and families to be full participants in the solution of problems that can be the result of family and community disruption, mental health issues, or life challenges. Our therapists can help assist youth, adults, couples, and families utilize their strengths to overcome emotional and behavioral challenges and allow participants to lead successful lives in their homes, schools, work, and communities.

As a person-centered/solution-focused counselor, I believe that empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard are key components to building the therapeutic relationship. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques when necessary to help challenge negative thought processes. My previous experience is with the child and adolescent populations as well as adults with diverse backgrounds and experiences, specializing in a variety of areas including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, life changes, substance abuse, ADHD, gender identity and grief/trauma.
