Dana is passionate about her experience working with adolescents, young adults, and families struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, special education needs, teen issues, emotional regulation, life adjustments/ transitions, and interpersonal relationships. Using a strengths based, eclectic approach, Dana draws from several evidenced based modalities including but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, and Psychodynamic Therapy while valuing that each client has their own unique qualities and needs.

There is currently a waitlist but I will be accepting new clients from the waitlist starting March/April 2024. Therapy For Black Moms is teletherapy practice in NJ dedicated to supporting the mental and relational health of Black Mothers from pregnancy to empty nest and everything in between. This includes working with Black mothers to empower them as individuals, mothers, and partners as they navigate parenthood, career, and relationships. We also support Black moms as they work through and heal from racial trauma, traumatic birthing experiences, depression, anxiety, and a variety of other mental and relational health concerns.

My dissertation titled "An Exploratory Study of Inner-City College Athletes and Crime: Socialization, Risk, Strategy, and Hope" explores how systems and leadership theory may help professionals to design interventions that will reduce criminality among student-athletes. Thesis entitled "A Prevention Intervention for Re-offending Adolescents Who Are Diagnosed With Mental Health And Substance Abuse Disorders".

A client that would be brave enough to look deeply at their inner strength, would emerge strengthened and filled.
