Since I began practicing psychotherapy in 1999, I have accompanied individuals particularly experiencing difficulty with life stress, process of acculturation, depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, issues stemming from childhood, as well as recent or unresolved trauma/PTSD. For individuals interested, I am able to incorporate as well as spiritual components into the psychotherapy treatment. I am trained in the use of (EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing.

I am a certified cognitive therapist, www.academyofct.org, with over 20 years' experience practicing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). I am committed to offering my clients state-of-the-art CBT interventions with substantial research support showing their effectiveness, so that I might provide for my clients the most appropriate and effective interventions available. At the same time, I understand the importance of providing a highly supportive environment conducive to helping people work on improving their lives.

I am a clinical psychologist board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, OCD, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), and trauma in adolescents and adults, as well as the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I also provide parent training to parents of anxious adolescents and young adults. I believe in creating a collaborative and inclusive environment and I am extensively trained in working with Autistic adolescents, adults, and their families.

Alicia Belmonte is a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey who has been practicing since 2017. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UDELAR in Uruguay and a Master of Art in Counselor Education from Kean University. Alicia believes in a client centered philosophy where she meets the client where they are and establishes a trusting relationship with them. She feels that aligning the client's view of the problem with a sound diagnostic criterium is important not only for reimbursement purposes, but also to choose the appropriate theoretical framework and the right techniques or tools to use in the therapeutic process.

I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC). I obtained my Bachelor and Master's degrees from the College of New Jersey (formerly known as Trenton State). My first counseling experience involved working with children and adults who have experienced various forms of trauma and compounding mental health/addiction concerns. Since then, I have had a passion aiding clients in healing the wounds of their pasts.

Nadine Abdelaziz is a Licensed Associate Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional in New Jersey who Joined Lifestance in 2024. She has a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Masters in Criminal Justice, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology. Through her clinical experience and education, Nadine has learned many skills that will help her aid the client on their journey. She offers patience, understanding, empathy and compassion. Outside of work, Nadine enjoys reading psychological thrillers, engaging in pyrography, and enjoying the sport of fencing.

I obtained my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from William Paterson University's accredited counseling program. I have experience providing therapy to clients in both individual and group settings. I am certified by the State of New Jersey as a Licensed Associate Counselor as well as a National Certified Counselor. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and working with children and adolescents. My treatment areas are adolescent/teen issues, anxiety, interpersonal challenges, and mood disorders.

Jesenia Vergel is a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey with 27 years of experience. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from New York University, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Montclair State University, and a Post-Masters from New Jersey City University.

Dr. Stacey Dutil is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey who has been practicing since 2012. She has a Bachelor of Science from Champlain College as well as MSW and DSW degrees from New York University. Dr. Dutil has extensive experience with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. Dr. Dutil believes that individuals are the experts in their own life, and she is here to assist in identifying existing strengths and skills as well as new ways of coping. Dr. Dutil uses a trauma-informed approach to therapy and treat each person based on their unique needs and strengths.
