I use an integrative approach that includes cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, and is based in humanistic and relational theories. Loving and loving well takes courage, but even the most courageous couples don't have it all figured out. That’s why I’m here: to support couples as they take greater risks to develop (and re-develop) trust, gain understanding, deepen intimacy, and restore connection. I understand the unique challenges of relationships and know how deep hurt and regret impact connection. I also know the long-lasting positive impacts that therapy can have on couples deciding whether to stay together, how to get unstuck, what to do to stop fighting, and how to forgive.

Relationships in Crisis: We Have Several Private Couples/Marriage Workshops & Individual Sessions, in order to Rapidly Accelerate Your Healing & Your Communication Process (Traditional 45 min. session Simply Does Not Work). During these 2 to 4 weeks, we will see both of you Together & Individually, as well as Help each of you Learn the Art of Empathy, Sensitivity & Compassion. These Workshops are Informative & Powerful, in order to Accelerate the Healing Process & Stop any further Damage from Occurring. In Addition, Our Success RATE is 85% of Our Couples that have Successfully Completed Our Couples Workshops or Alcohol Treatment.

I am experienced working with ADHD/ADD, Anxiety, depression, childhood trauma and anger management. I utilize CBT, trauma focused therapy and solution-focused therapy to promote change through constructing solutions rather than focusing on problems. The Center For Marriage and Family Therapy has five offices throughout central New Jersey. Jackie Held, Karen Spiler and Jill Stein founded the Center in 1984. We refer to a large network of affiliated therapists whose specialties include relationship counseling, anxiety, depression, separation and divorce, gay and lesbian issues, child and adolescent therapy, grief therapy, sex therapy and substance abuse. Our offices are in Matawan, Freehold, Princeton, Toms River and Piscataway. Our network includes licensed professional counselors, licensed clinical social workers, substance abuse specialists, child and adolescent specialists and sex therapists.

I have experience working with a large range of clientele from my experience working in various behavioral health settings. My role at Victory Bay is to provide client-centered therapy to his patients alongside facilitating group therapy.
