Krista provides a safe environment for the clients that she serves. She strives to build rapport and create a healthy, helping relationship. Krista is very empathetic, understanding, and warm with her clients which helps foster a safe environment conducive to healing. In her spare time, Krista enjoys reading, going to the gym, spending time with friends and family, and watching Netflix.

At a very young age I struggled to find someone I could relate to. I wanted to find someone that I could speak to freely and without judgement. I never found that as a young adult. As an adult I saw the need in my own community for mental health and family dynamics. In the past 11 years, I have had the privilege of working with individuals and families in a therapeutic partnership. Making the decision to focus on oneself and start working with a therapist can be life-changing and I applaud you for taking the time to focus on yourself. Therapy can be enlightening and help create positive and lasting changes. But it can also be intimidating when starting this process. This is why the therapeutic relationship is so important. As a therapist, it is my goal to work with you to help you unlock your greatness and move past any barriers that are holding you back.

I use several different styles of therapy. First I like to use the Client-Centered approach to meet and get to know the client, create a treatment plan, and goals based on their needs and wants, and build rapport. Secondly, I use the psychodynamic approach to help the client figure out where their unwanted thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are coming from so that we can begin to uncover their origins and get to the heart of the issues. I use Motivational Interviewing to help the client process their thoughts and emotions so they can better understand themselves.

I began my career in Social Work working with older adults in a subacute/LTC center and have a passion for this population. At Robert Wood University Hospital and Atlantic Health, I provided training to staff as well as physicians about the best ways to motivate patients to work towards wellness, both medically and behaviorally. I have taught Grief and Loss Across the Lifespan to MSW students at Rutgers. I have successfully treated couples, women, and men for a variety of challenges and have provided a variety of different therapy models to help clients overcome the issues which have them feeling stuck, through teletherapy.

With 12 years of experience working with clients going through individual, relationship, and family issues, Celebrity Therapist Dr. Jeff Rocker has provided therapeutic services to clients nationwide. He is Licensed in 14 states and has served clients from all age groups. Over the years, Dr. Jeff has organized lectures and various events in the community, including excursions and retreats for couples to improve their communication and better understand each other. He has experience working with athletes in the NFL, NBA, and MLB. In addition, Dr. Jeff has also worked with clients in the Movie, Music, and Entertainment Industries.

My expertise is informed by more than 10 years in clinical practice as well as over 25 years in Human Service Practice skills. I am very compassionate and value the capacity for individuals to reach their highest desires. When conflicts are experienced in life, they can certainly be immobilizing.
