Nutley Family Service Bureau is a comprehensive health and human services agency dedicated to the emotional and social well-being of individuals and families through affordable mental health counseling and social service programs. We provide individual, family and couples counseling both in person and via Telehealth. Our licensed clinicians are skilled in solution focused, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), mindfulness, and art therapies, to name a few. We also have bilingual clinicians that can provide counseling in Spanish, and Portuguese. We accept most major insurances including Medicare and Medicaid.

I specialize in helping Latinas and women of color heal from intergenerational trauma and break long-standing generational patterns. As a mother, wife, and cycle breaker myself, I understand the deep-seated challenges that come with our histories and the immense potential for transformation. In my practice, I blend traditional psychotherapy with holistic approaches, considering all aspects of well-being—emotional, physical, and spiritual. My goal is to create a supportive and empowering environment where you can explore your past, present, and future with compassion and courage.

I have more than 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist. I offer individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults. I believe the therapeutic relationship must be supported and safe, as an effective way to explore life challenges while feeling fully accepted and understood. I strongly believe that a successful relationship between therapist and client leads to lasting change. During this difficult time due to the Covid-19 I'm offering phone sessions in order reduce the stress to come to the office and have the session from hour home.
