I am a licensed clinical psychologist and work with adults, young adults/college students, teens, adolescents, and children in individual therapy. I work with a diversity of clients struggling with life transitions and adjustments, anxiety disorders (general, OCD, phobias, panic), depression, communication issues, trauma, grief and loss, sexuality and gender identity, educational or occupational difficulties, executive functioning, and parenting/caretaking. When working with young children I always work with their parents as well. I also offer school observations, for children ages 3-10, as needed for assessment and planning.

My private practice, Goodale Wellness, LLC, is located in Denville, NJ. I see clients both in-person and virtually. In my practice, I support children, adolescents, and their families, with a specialty of helping families heal during and after trauma, loss, and grief. During this time in our country, most people have been touched by trauma, loss, and grief of some kind or another. Since the global pandemic, many children struggled and are now facing challenges in their homes, schools, and social lives. Having worked in numerous and diverse mental health facilities with people of all ages, including group home, long-term inpatient, adult/partial hospital outpatient, I use a modern psychoanalytic approach in my practice for treating symptoms pertaining to today's mental health challenges. Following the contact while working with a person’s transference and resistances, helps to develop a treatment alliance while fostering a strong therapeutic relationship.

I am a licensed psychologist in the state on New Jersey and New York. I provide individual, couples and family therapy with Spanish population. I have extensive clinical experience working with Hispanic population. I have expertise in trauma focused therapy and evidence-based interventions for children, adolescents and adults. I specialize in disruptive disorders (i.e. ADHD, ODD), mutism, physical and sexual abuse, trauma, play therapy, personality and mood/anxiety disorders, and family disruption. Furthermore, I enjoy helping couples and families.
