Sometimes it is not so clear as to where the challenges are stemming from, but they are there. They disrupt our sleep, impact how we interact with peers and our loved ones, create greater impulsivity, and can disrupt our usually effective job performance. Sometimes the choices we make under such duress may feel like they offer some relief in the short term, but ultimately contribute to additional challenges.

I am a licensed psychotherapist specializing in individual and family system therapy. Focusing on the awareness of the connection that often exists between family of origin and adult behavior, my treatment philosophy is tailored to helping clients to utilize the connection of these experiences in a positive way. I received a doctorate in psychology and religion as well as formal training in individual, marriage and family therapy. I bring years of experience providing counseling and assistance to adults and children with behavioral and many other issues. My professional experiences within various agencies has allotted me the opportunity to gain a vast knowledge of different systems and agencies. I earned my MA in Counseling with a specialization in Family, Marriage, and Couples Counseling from Pillar College. Additionally, I earned my undergraduate degree in English from Kean University and a Social Science degree from Brookdale Community College.
