I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Music Therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I believe everyone can achieve wellness, whether you struggle with ADHD, depression, anxiety, social skills deficits, being bullied or struggling to find your right path. I engage clients in a variety of evidenced based practices to assist them in meeting their identified goals. Based on your strengths and gifts, together we will partner to find solutions to barriers holding you back from being your best self.

I've worked as a therapist for fifteen years in multiple formats: Intensive In-Home Counseling, Schools for children with academic/behavior/psychiatric issues, group homes, on-site trainer for Rutgers UBHC, and private practice. I’m pleased to now work exclusively in private practice where I offer individual and group therapy; I currently run three social skills groups for people with Autism: 2 for Adults, and 1 for HS teens. I believe in working with the family as well as the child when working with adolescents. I enjoy working with adolescents as well as adults, and appreciate the unique differences of each client.

Building friendships that last! At Camp Excel, we focus on developing social skills and the social awareness necessary for better relationships with other children and adults. Camp Excel offers social skills group programs for children ages 5-17 with mild special needs that have social skill challenges. Many of our children have a diagnosis of ADHD, high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, Social Communication Disorder, Tourette’s, Auditory Processing Disorder, Learning Disorders, and more. We focus on developing social skills and the social awareness necessary for better relationships.

I am a LCSW with 10 years experience in the mental health field. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Rutgers University, and my Master's Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. I have experience working with adolescents and adults in various settings, including in-home therapy, hospitals, and outpatient facilities. Over the course of my career, I have provided treatment for a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and substance abuse.

Over the last decade, I have successfully helped children, adolescents, and adults from different backgrounds achieve their goals. The clients I have worked with have struggled with issues including but not limited to: anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, personality disorders, stage of life issues, relationship conflicts, anger management, self-confidence, and impulse control difficulties. My number one goal is for us to build trust in our relationship so that we can work together to achieve your goals too.

I aid clients in navigating through their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors to allow clarity and room for positive change so they can ultimately live a fulfilled life.

Each individual that comes into counseling has their own unique story, background, and reason for seeking help at that time. Although quite wonderful, sometimes being human is HARD. I'm licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with over 20 years full-time, clinical experience. I utilize evidence-based modalities to assist clients in finding new ways to better manage emotions, bring balance back, and help when things get rough. My client's ages range from early adulthood through the elderly, 20-80+. i work with individuals, couples and families in a safe, collaborative environment of self-discovery and growth.
