We all face challenges at some point. Therapy is a way to work through these challenges in order to have the life you want to live. I offer a warm, supportive, non-judgmental environment to help clients identify their goals and assist them in achieving their desired outcomes. I have over ten years of experience, which includes working with adolescents, adults, families, and group therapy. My experience has been with clients struggling with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, parenting issues, career stressors, and family conflict.

In my 19 years as a therapist, I have worked with a range of clients, such as co-dependency, anger, OCD, phobias, panic disorders, and PTSD & trauma with individuals, couples, and families, and I have learned every client is vastly different. One thing that is the same is that the goal for the client is always moving towards living kind of the life they want to live. What that looks like is different for everyone because we all have our own set of values. But the stronger our values, the harder it can be to accept ourselves and others in the world. I help clients find that balance for themselves!

I have a psychodynamic approach and have experience with CBT and DBT.
Are life’s stressors impacting your sense of well-being, your family life or other relationships? Anxiety and depression can immobilize us, leaving us feeling a loss of control and sometimes we just can't make things better on our own. Together we can identify which obstacles are preventing you from achieving your personal goals and then determine how to help you overcome those obstacles. By understanding our past and how we have come to our current situations, we can better prepare and take charge of our lives. Understanding and accepting ourselves is the pathway to freedom and happiness.

What clients have taught me over 20 years in practice is that to be genuinely heard and understood is a lost art in our busy technological world. Whether we are deeply hurt due to relational trauma, painfully grieving the loss of meaningful attachment or trying to survive the distress that comes from living life with spouse/ child who has been diagnosed with ASD. In these tumultuous times we frequently yearn for "another" who can professionally "Hold us Well" & Provide a "Soft Place to Fall" while we sort out the tangled web of internal confusion.
