I am a NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctoral Degree in Social Work. For the last decade I have worked with youth, adults, and families healing from trauma and PTSD. I specialize in working with individuals who have been impacted by child sexual abuse, sexual violence, and domestic violence as well as those coping with grief and loss, anxiety, and depression.

By utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I assist my clients with exploration of their thoughts and feelings and how these impact behavior. I encourage my clients to explore their beliefs and world view and identify maladaptive coping skills. The goal is to develop a healthy lifestyle. Together we explore how each individual adopted his or her current lifestyle, what needs they were attempting to fulfill, and how and what they would like to change. Through the therapeutic relationship individuals become empowered to create a new life narrative.

The horses provide an experiential/ solution focused therapeutic model that can act as a fast-track intervention therapy alongside traditional therapies (collaborating with your therapist), or as a stand-alone alternative to talk therapy. We have licensed professionals and follow HIPAA guidelines while we 'get to the horse of the matter'.
