Accepting new clients! In life, we will all face obstacles. My goal as a therapist is to help you learn more about yourself and come up with ways to overcome these obstacles - ways that actually work. I utilize various modalities, but Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) are the modalities I most frequently draw from. I believe that not all therapeutic modalities work for everybody, and as such, I adapt according to my clients' needs. I have experience working with children over 8, teenagers, and adults.

I treat depression, anxiety, relationships, disappointments and losses, parenting, couples, individuals and families. Conflict and distress can stem from many sources-life upheavals, separation, divorce, trauma, death, unexpected disappointments, mourning what we have lost or never had. Therapy is a process of Self discovery-understanding what makes you-you and Your unique personal issues. My role is to help you unlock whatever has or is preventing you from reaching your personal goals and the quality of life you desire. Step Up Family Services provides in person and Telehealth services to children, teens, adults, families, and couples. Our team of providers offers supportive and compassionate care using evidence based therapeutic models to address anxiety, depression, addiction, and relationship issues. Stacey Lukowiak is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol counselor in New Jersey.
