I found my calling within the community serving as an in-home counselor and also attending at Beth Israel Medical Center as a Mental Health Clinician, since 2011. The psychotherapy work focus around Individual and family needs, using Family System, CBT and Strength-Based approach. I'm also experienced with children trauma, behavior issues, anger management, domestic violence, PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. Another passion of mine centers around Immigration. I offer psychosocial evaluations for immigration cases. I am a native Portuguese/Spanish speaker and have experience working with clients with a history of trauma and abuse.

Seeking therapeutic help is challenging, therefore my utmost reward as a therapist is assisting my client(s) to explore ways to make life changes that allows them to look forward to a future with hope. I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), who is well experienced working with children, teens, families, elders, and their caregivers for 10 + years. I graduated from Rutgers, The State University of NJ, with my Master’s Degree in Social Work, with high honors over 10 years ago. I also have an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology. I am grateful that I have had the privilege to have worked in multiple capacities from Residential Group Homes for children, teens, and young adults to working with toddlers and parents in Preschools and Head Start.
