I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Bachelor's Degree from Loyola University in Psychology and a Master's Degree from William Paterson University in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. I specialize in working individuals, couples, and families. I also have experience working with those who have developmental disabilities.

Lighthouse Counseling & Sand Play Training Center, LLC was conceived in 2000 in a tiny office in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey by Gretchen Morgan and Mary Pat McGeehin. Their search for effective treatment led them to include the use of Sand Play Therapy, EMDR, yoga and therapeutic group work with their clients. This was in response to the expanding body of research which illustrated that the mind-body connection was integral to the healing of mental health issues. In 2004, they expanded their practice to include like-minded affiliate clinicians and moved to a larger facility in Eatontown, NJ.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 9 years of experience in the mental health field. I hold a Masters Degree and Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Monmouth University. I am a seasoned social worker and psychotherapist who has consistently demonstrated my passion for making a positive impact. I have a strong background in providing therapeutic services to diverse populations, specializing in adolescents, adults, and families. My work extends across various settings, including private practice, residential facilities, and community organizations.

I elicit hope when the world seems hopeless. My approach is to develop a therapeutic relationship where authenticity is encouraged in a compassionate, judgement free space. Majority of the children I work with simply want to just be kids, but there is a concern or barrier that needs to be addressed or removed first. Majority of the youth I work with are trying to figure out their purpose and how to focus on the future. The families I work with want to reduce stress and be cohesive. The couples I work with want to be unified and feel like they are together in their relationship. The adults want to be happy and content.
