Life is full of surprising opportunities, unexpected changes, and personal challenges. Occasionally when faced with life's opportunities and difficulties we feel anxious, depressed, even immobilized with indecision. Friends and family can be a wonderful support, but sometimes we need the help of an unbiased person to listen and help us see that what might look like an impossible hurdle is really an opportunity for growth. Struggling in school or in our careers, relationship or parenting difficulties, coping with trauma, loss, and aging are all normal developmental challenges that people regularly face but that occasionally require some help and guidance.

Why is it difficult to call a stranger for help, for counseling? Most likely because the caller is vulnerable and sometimes it is hard to ask for help. My goal, as a therapist, is to explore ways with my clients to help them get past what it is that is troubling them. I want to help my clients build a bridge to a healthier future.

I am a licensed therapist specializing in clinical work with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups. I view my role as assisting my clients to more fully realize and become their authentic selves. Often, life events occur that prevent us from feeling strong, brave, satisfied, or even present in the world. We may become disconnected from others as well as ourselves. My passion is supporting clients as they grow, heal, play, discover, and connect within their therapy sessions and in their lives.
