My mission is to assist individuals with identifying their purpose in life, as well as enhancing their sense of self. I want to lend an unbiased ear to anyone who is in need of help. During therapy, I use various forms of evidence-based treatment approaches focusing on cognitive behavioral interventions, motivational interviewing, and person-centered interventions; however, the basis of my approach lies in existential therapy.

My approach is humanistic and existential. I focus on the individual, not on categorizations or labels. I tailor each treatment plan to meet the individual and unique needs of every single client. I help clients to become more self-aware and to understand what he or she might be needing/wanting. My intention is to help clients concentrate on the here and now while offering empathy, understanding, and compassion. By creating a supportive environment, it is my belief that individuals will feel safe and welcomed. I believe in creating a space that allows for open communication without the fear of judgement.

Hello, I am a bilingual and bicultural therapist whose goal is to support my patients/clients to feel heard and validated. I want my patients to progress and understand that their diagnosis does not define nor control them. I am willing to walk this journey with my patients and push them when they need the push, and support them when they feel “alone”. I graduated in May of 2020, with my Master of Science in Marriage, Family, and Couples, I have been working with patients on a therapeutic level for about 2 years. However, I have worked in case management roles and child protection collectively for over 20 years.

She has experience in the areas of mood disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, life adjustments, self-esteem, attachment issues, parenting styles, anger management, emotional/spiritual distress, and co-occurring disorders. Deepjot is open to expanding her horizon and working with other individuals outside her expertise.

Sometimes life can become overwhelming and people need a place to come to find comfort and understanding. I provide a supportive and accepting atmosphere. I work very well with children and adolescents with a variety of social and emotional difficulties. I additionally provide treatment to adults and teens suffering from mood disorders, family conflict, and sexual orientation concerns.

Footprints was started by a therapist who realized that often times the services provided to low socio-economic communities is lacking quality care. We noticed these communities were confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Footprints began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.
