I’m a Caribbean Christian therapist and I love working with seniors, young professionals, and women navigating relationship issues, anxiety, grief, medical issues, depression, thoughts of self-harm, or other uncontrollable emotions. I value creating a calm, safe space with no room for judgment. In session, we’ll work on things like coping with relationship issues, setting boundaries, getting curious about self, gaining insight, learning to identify feelings and manage them differently, and exploring their faith as an avenue of healing (if desired). I am passionate about helping couples, adults, and teens overcome anxiety, depression, life transitions, school challenges, OCD, trauma, and sobriety / recovery. I want you to be your unapologetic self and we'll start with your goals and hopes for therapy. Then we'll try approaches like mindfulness, combating negative thoughts and beliefs, interpersonal effectiveness, and existential therapy to understand your patterns, accept the things we cannot change, use your strengths, and grow in the ways you want to grow. I work with couples and co-parents too. See if I'm accepting new clients and book online at www.resolutioncc.com/team

Footprints was started by a therapist who realized that often times the services provided to low socio-economic communities is lacking quality care. We noticed these communities were confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Footprints began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.

In a world plagued with problems, it can seem as though solutions don't exist, but I am convinced that all problems have answers. People are unique and a treatment plan is needed to address each individual's unique problems. I use an integrated approach to treating patients. My background (MPhil degree) in genetics gives me an edge; help me to understand behaviors and problems at an inheritance level. As a scholar I approach problems with scientific method and look at the cause and effect of all problems before coming with an appropriate solution.
