I am deeply committed to helping individuals, teens, and families navigate life's challenges. I specialize in supporting individuals of all ages who are facing difficulties such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relational challenges, and trauma.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a graduate degree from New York University Silver School of Social Work. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). With over ten years experience, I have worked with a variety of clinical populations in different settings, including in-patient psychiatric facilities, long-term care facilities and rehabilitation centers, and I have provided counseling in both residential and outpatient settings. With a flexible and eclectic approach - inspired by a background of both psychology and social work - I tailor treatment to each individual.

One of the life lessons I have learned through my practice and life experiences is that we may know what the next right thing may be, but getting there oftentimes requires support, guidance, and self-trust. I truly believe we are all doing the very best we can with our present skill sets. Sometimes we may already have existing support systems and still may not know which path to choose. Other times we feel alone in moving forward and confused about if our choices are “right.” This is where I am hoping to help support you. I am a believer in the team effort.

Hello, I am glad your here! Welcome to your One Life. I would be honored to be a part. I am a Licensed Master level Clinical Social Worker and Certified Yoga Therapist. I specialize in DBT, CBT, anxiety/depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, C-PTSD, addiction recovery, and fear. I have additional certification in domestic violence and sexual assault. I also work with grief and loss, divorce and couples seeking to mend and/or reconnect. I am experienced with the 12 Step philosophy that aligns with my mindfulness-based approach to recovery. I am a Certified Yoga therapist and bring the body into somatic treatment using Yoga as therapy.

I'm moved by the longing of couples to be to be listened to with undivided attention, to be understood and accepted, to be seen in their virtues and appreciated, to be held with affection and delight, to be allowed to be themselves and shift from it's all about me to you need all the same things. Your criticism and force can step back when I help you care about your own wounds - that your partner can respect, but cannot heal for you. I walk with confounded parents to calm their reactions to their children's resistance. They feel ignored, failing to raise a caring and responsible son or daughter. Heart is heavy, values seem irrelevant. Unburden the heart so your children can hear your values, not your reactions. Couple and family difficulties have roots in old hurts where we managed with knee jerk reactions and attitudes of how things should be. I can help you hold perspective, where you value yourself when others discredit you, where you're open to feedback about what is not helpful without feeling criticized or angry. Therapy is not getting partners or children or peers to respond, it's being able to bring my values with conviction without being attached to the outcome
