My client and service focus is on individuals or entities seeking treatment, psychological evaluations, risk assessment, expert witness representation, and related services for sexual misconduct, sexual abuse, sexual victimization, or trauma. Other areas of specialty include assessment of violence; standards of professional practice; program development; supervision and training of forensic practitioners; treatment or supervision of professionals and clergy with sexual misconduct; pretrial defendants; juveniles delinquency and sexual offending; and supervision or training of clinical personnel involved in various relevant psychological, civil, or criminal justice interventions. Also, I have extensive training in treatment of general psychological conditions as well as providing psychological and psycho-educational evaluations.

I am a licensed professional counselor specializing in working with adults with anxiety, depression, chronic and acute traumas, self-esteem and relationship issues, and life stressors. I utilize an integrative approach to cater to my clients’ needs in order to meet their full potential and goals. The healing journey is an integral part of growth and my intention is to create a safe space to do so. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I offer confidential psychotherapy for couples, families, and individuals of all ages. Together we work through the underlying reasons for your conflicts, problems, and ineffective patterns that prevent you from reaching your potential. I work with people on a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, parenting, family problems, grief, and loss. I work with clients to help them acknowledge their own strengths and take steps to manage emotions so they can be hopeful and take control of their lives.

Resentment feelings, verbal altercations, walls of silence, endless arguing, feeling miserable and emotionally abandoned, worries, feeling guilty, and/or lack of sexual desire and passion become more frequent and you are HURTING, feel off balance, and disappointed. Being a highly experienced therapist I can help you with insight, wisdom, understanding, and guidance in restoring your strength and confidence in yourself and your relationship.

I have been a therapist for 29 years. I assist adult clients and families and couples in working through underlying reasons for their pain, problems and conflicts, and help them learn skills to manage their emotions and behavior to solve problems and form healthier relationships. I help children, adolescents and their parents manage phase of life challenges, and the struggles posed by conditions like ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, mood dysregulation, trauma and behavioral difficulties.

While trained in evidence-based treatment techniques, my work is ever informed by and in full respect for the mind, body, and spirit of each client. At The Sexuality, Attachment, and Trauma Project, we provide identity-affirming care for all communities. Our patients are people, not problems, and we work with each person differently. We treat a range of issues related to sexuality and gender. These include out-of-control sexual behavior, sometimes labeled sex addiction (although we’re not fans of labels). Patients also come to us for intimacy anxiety, sexual compulsivity, gender and orientation confusion, LGBTQ+ issues, and family trauma.
