I am a licensed clinical/sport psychologist. I work primarily from a cognitive-behavioral perspective, helping individuals gain insight into what thoughts and behaviors are keeping them stuck and empowering them to break unhelpful patterns. I also utilize mindfulness and values-based practices to help individuals build compassion and acceptance. In my practice I value developing strong relationships with clients by creating a safe, transparent, genuine (and even humorous) environment. With humility and curiosity, I consistently seek to understand how one's culture, identity and experiences shape one's life.
