I love working with individual children, adolescents, and adults to improve their overall happiness and well-being. I have had great success treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, OCD, and problems with grief and adjustment to other life stressors.
I specialize in treating anxiety and other mood disorders. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is the evidenced-based modality that has shown to be highly effective in treating anxiety as well as several other difficulties clients face today.
I also utilize DBT and enjoy finding creative solutions to help clients meet their own goals. I sometime use pets in therapy and am open to walking therapy (the entire session is held while walking in the neighborhood). I treat my clients as I wish to be treated.

Groups
Knitting and Crochet for Mindfulness
Each session will be an opportunity for group members to bring their own project or to learn to knit or crochet very simple projects. Education and practice of mindfulness for anxiety reduction is the main focus. If participants wish to learn to knit or crochet, opportunity before the start of the session can be arranged to help provide instruction.
