Hi there! A little about me; I’m a Creative Arts Therapist who believes in the importance of exploring oneself through the power of creative expression. I ground myself in holistic practices to best support meaningful work with clients. Through the lens of my own experiences with confronting trauma in therapy, I empower and encourage clients to be their true authentic selves by adopting a strength-based approach which fosters positive reinforcement, self awareness and tools to cope with day-to-day challenges.
I have worked with various populations to include BIPOC individuals, Veterans from all war eras and branches of service, adults, geriatrics, and adolescents. My military background as an Army Combat Veteran has exposed me to various cultures, therefore I bring an inclusive and highly empathic nature into the therapeutic space.
I strongly believe connecting and establishing a healthy rapport together are key aspects of developing a dynamic therapeutic relationship.
