I have a pretty flexible approach to therapy. You can expect a steady flow of smiley faces in your messaging inbox, but you are not obligated to respond. My focus allows for a completely unique experience for every member. I tend to get along well with members who are very particular about details because I care about the mapping of your OCD being accurate to your experience. The only thing more important is that you feel like you have agency throughout the entire therapy process. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for people with OCD.
Our understanding of the nuances of OCD enables us to properly diagnose and treat it. We have received intensive training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD. When you start with NOCD, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues, depending on your preferences.
We’ll work to get to know you and create a treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Plus, we offer support between sessions through direct messaging and a community of peers with OCD, ensuring you never feel alone. I am looking forward to partnering with you to help you triumph over OCD.
