Hi there! My name is Nikita and I am a Graduate Student Intern currently pursuing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Texas Wesleyan University. I am supervised by Dr. Elyse Deleski, LMFT-S. I am passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and families struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, self-esteem, chronic illness, cancer and blood disorders, and victims of narcissists. I also specialize in pre-engaged, pre-marital, and marital counseling through the utilization of the Gottman Method and as a certified facilitator of the Prepare/Enrich program.
I take a person-centered, relational approach to therapy, in which I primarily use Solution-Focused Narrative Therapy. I believe that clients are the experts on their lives and experiences.

Girls In Real Life Situations (G.I.R.L.S) Group
Our virtual G.I.R.L.S Group is for High School girls (grades 9-12) and will cover a multitude of topics including social media, communication, peer relationships, self-love & self-esteem, body image, and basic life skills. During group lessons, girls are encouraged to share feelings and struggles as they openly discuss important issues in a safe and supportive environment. They are given the opportunity to feel empowered, gain self-awareness, develop coping strategies, improve problem-solving skills, understand that they are not alone, and learn to make healthy decisions.
