My name is Nidisha Kaul, LPC. As a Licensed Professional Counselor I have had the opportunity to assist clients in areas such as personal growth/life transitions, sport performance, unresolved childhood wounds, understanding past and current patterns of dysfunction, substance misuse, and their relationship with self and others. Therapy is a self-care practice one embraces to grow, heal, learn, and create a path to self-actualization. By building trust and partnership, I can assist my clients in creating a plan of action that addresses the problem at its core.
In order to understand ourselves as a whole, we sometimes need to dive a little deeper to gain clarity. We often forget significant experiences in our childhood or past that create major impacts on our lives. On the path to self-actualization, we work to understand the foundation on which our core beliefs and values were built and how it guides our behavior.
I believe an integrative approach brings about more opportunities for growth and development. As an Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Trained and IFS informed therapist, we will collaborate in creating concrete strategies, mindfulness and stress reducing techniques to experience improved mood and outcomes.
