Engaging in therapy and self discovery may seem overwhelming at first, but the result, living one's optimal life is worth the investment. Based on my lived and professional experience, I firmly believe in self-actualization-that everyone can attain the complete realization of their potential. Self-actualization can usually best be achieved by person centered therapy which is premised on the notion that everyone is an "expert" in their own life, can identify areas of their life they would like to change, and with the support of a nonjudgmental and empathetic therapist they can make those changes.
I have my law degree and my Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Addiction Studies. I am a licensed professional counselor and a licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor. I am in sustained remission from opioid use disorder for nearly 15 years and a person diagnosed with major depressive disorder and anxiety.
