It is important to me that I develop a rapport with each client that I encounter. Every client has different issues that need to be addressed. Clients are involved with identifying goals and a treatment plan to address the specific issues clients are experiencing. Some of the treatment modalities I use are strengths-based approach along with CBT to address negative ways of thinking. It is important for me to hold clients accountable for the decisions they make along with empowering them to be the best version of themselves.
Life can be difficult, and I am here to help you navigate through life's challenges. I have been a social worker for over twenty years. Throughout my career I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults. I have a background in child welfare, mental health, medical social work, and individual/family therapy.
We take care of our physical health and dental health. We should also make our mental health a priority. Participating in therapy can be a gift to yourself. Studies have shown the benefits of participating in therapy which includes a better quality of life.
