My name is Nicole Shrieves and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of California. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I provide individual therapy with adults who experience symptoms of depression and anxiety stemming from trauma, systematic oppression, ancestral and generational wounds, racial injustices, domestic violence, sex trafficking, grief and loss, aging, and other life experiences/stressors. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly.My therapeutic approach is based on you, the individual.
It is person-centered and trauma-informed. I believe that multiple therapeutic modalities may be used to support you on your healing journey while understanding there are also modalities that may not be appropriate for BIPOC.
I work with women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, survivors of domestic violence and sex trafficking, first/second generation immigrants, and older adults who are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, Acute Stress, and PTSD.
