Do you feel overwhelmed both mentally and physically? Are you not sure what the feelings that you're having are, why you are having them, or don't know how to cope with them? I currently help adolescents, and young adults learn about anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and trauma. I would love to also branch out and work with adults as well as the current population I work with, but just haven't got the chance yet! I also help clients identify where these uncomfortable feelings could be coming from and ways that they can manage those feelings to be able to increase their quality of life.
The approach we will use will depend on your needs and expectations in counseling. I like for you to take the lead on the direction of your treatment, and I am here to guide and help in any way that I am able to. Whatever your needs may be, facing that you need help with something that you are struggling with can be intimidating.
I will meet you with empathy, compassion, and understanding to be your partner in working through this. My goal is to be the lantern that guides you through the darkness that you are facing.
