Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Skills Group
This group will help you learn DBT skills, such as Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. You will be given tools to help you stay present, instead of living life in your head, as well as help you weather the lows in your life. You will also learn how to communicate effectively with people around boundaries, self-assertiveness, and compromise. These skills have been proven to help those who suffer with anxiety and depression by giving you knowledge on a variety of aspects that these symptoms hinder.
