In communion with caregivers, I help create a space for children to heal and to develop and refine their skills to surf some of the more difficult and challenging waves of life. I find joy in working with children and their families; in all the shapes and forms a family can take; I also have experience and enjoy working with adults. Each healing path is different, and I honor that by incorporating creativity, curiosity, cultural responsivity, and deep listening to help clients work towards their goals.
Most often I work with clients who have experienced identity-based traumas, toxic stress, difficult transitions, and anxiety. I use Play Therapy, EMDR, and CBT based treatments. With a foundation of trust, acceptance, and commitment to collaborative effort, healing and change can happen!
I know that seeking steady ground for ourselves and our loved ones during times of uncertainty or hardship is an act of courage and sometimes a leap of faith. In my work with clients, I meet their courage by showing up with compassion, authenticity, and a belief in their ability to heal.
