The ideal client would be someone who is motivated to change and feel better/happier overall. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, mood instability and/or substance use, change is key in order to feel better. The main goal for clients is to learn healthier coping skills, process recent life stressors and/or traumas that may be contributing to their mental health and understand the importance of self-care/love. It is important to target the specific needs of the individual's and develop a treatment plan that is unique to them.
I have a lot of experience working with adults struggling with mental health illnesses as well as substance use on both an inpatient, acute partial and traditional outpatient level. In addition, I have a lot of experience working with adolescents as an intensive in-community therapist. I have a lot of training in childhood trauma, DBT and CBT.
Clients struggling with depression, anxiety, mood instability, substance use and more that are motivated for growth and treatment are encouraged to reach out.
