Hi! My name is Nicole Linton (she/her). I am a Limited License Professional Counselor, and I would love to work with you! I aim to holistically help people: overcome depression and anxiety; manage adult ADHD challenges; learn to LIVE (not just cope) with chronic illness and/or pain; adjust to change in family, health, identity, school/work; gain self-awareness and accomplish growth and resilience; and live their authentic lives.I earned my undergraduate degree in Sociology from GVSU and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health from Siena Heights University.
I also am familiar with Intuitive Eating concepts and love being a strong ally to my LGBTQ+ family, community, and clients. If life seems to be taking you places you weren’t looking to go, or just isn’t how you want it to be, there’s hope.
My approach to counseling is eclectic, with training in CBT, ACT, and DBT as a foundation, and evidence-based techniques including guided visualization, art therapy exercises, and mindfulness.
