I come alongside my clients as I bear witness to their pain, struggles, healing and growth. I am always amazed at the resiliency and strength I see in people. What I appreciate about counseling is that it is both a SCIENCE and an ART. We know of interventions and strategies that work well and the 'art' shows up in how language, images and personalized goals are used.
I offer personalized and evidence-based outpatient treatment. I specialize in depression, anxiety, process additions, sexual trauma, family and couples counseling. I integrate EMDR with narrative therapy and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy when working with individuals. I use the Gottman Couples method with couples.
In counseling, I work hard to find ways for my clients to overcome their struggles and craft new ways to cope and succeed in whatever reality they find themselves.
