With a background in yoga, Pilates, and essential oils, I embarked on a journey to integrate holistic wellness practices into mental health counseling. My passion for holistic healing led me to pursue a career as a holistic health coach, followed by a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Xavier University in Cincinnati.
Since I have joined the team at Rooted Compassion, where we emphasize mental health therapy grounded in neuroscience, connection and resilience, I have strengthened my expertise with trainings in EMDR and Polyvagal Theory, studies about EMDR for complex trauma, Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy and healing couples courses.
