Does your child have difficulty managing those ‘big feelings’? Do you notice changes in their mood or behaviors? Sometimes it’s hard for children to put their thoughts and emotions into words which often leads to confusion, frustration, fear, or anxiety for caregivers. It’s even harder for children and teens to understand it themselves! I love to imagine kids like smaller humans- they experience the same feelings of sadness, anger, grief, anxiety, fear, and happiness that we as adults do! Children, adolescents, and teens deserve support and guidance too.
I strive to create an atmosphere where children, teens, and adults feel safe in working through whatever emotions life is throwing at them. Offering a space where they are free to express themselves authentically and learn more about their inner worlds is my ultimate goal. We can work together to create a plan to tackle some of life’s hardest stressors!
While children have been the majority of my training, I also enjoy working with teens and adolescents often using more age appropriate interventions and strategies. I can also provide individual therapy for adults needing guidance with a variety of symptoms such as anxiousness, depression, relationships struggles, and life adjustments. I’m here for you!
