Life sometimes gets to a point where we can't or don't want to do it alone anymore. It's too much, too heavy, too dark, too complicated... We need help. And that is not only okay, it is natural. As a therapist, my goal is to provide a non-judgmental, safe, and meaningful space to be able to process experiences and hurts that have created unhealthy patterns or negative inner messages. Doing this allows space for healing and growth while also learning how to see the person we want to be. My goals is to help each person make healthy changes that inspire a fuller, more connected, satisfying life experience.
I have worked for almost 10 years in schools and community clinics and have experiences with suicidal ideation/self-harm, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, difficulties with self-esteem/confidence, and trauma. I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Metaphor Therapy.
I believe that each person's experience and history is unique, which means that treatment also needs to be individualized. I work collaboratively with my clients to create a treatment plan that is made specifically for them and meets their needs.
