Therapy can be an intimidating and difficult endeavor, but often with worthwhile results. Sometimes we simply want to understand ourselves better, improve our relationships, or find more balance in our lives, and other times we have serious concerns with our mood, anxiety, or current behavioral patterns. I use a personable, humorous approach in therapy to assist in navigating some of the discomfort inherent in the therapeutic process. Therapy is a place of non-judgment, and I am open and accepting of all persons and identities.
Dr. Fisher provides a warm environment in which to explore the self. She has received formal training in dialectical behavior therapy and certification in parent child interaction therapy and expressive arts therapy. Dr. Fisher’s light hearted approach allows clients to engage in psychotherapy at their own preferred pace with minimal discomfort.
I am open to providing thorough consultations to address any questions you may have about therapy, your specific therapy needs, or myself as a provider. It can be tricky to find the right match, so I am happy to guide you in every way I can.
