Like water under pressure, emotions always find a way out. They can manifest in a variety of life challenges and symptoms. I believe that everyone has the ability and power to heal themselves and I see myself like a flashlight you may sometimes need to pick up when you become overwhelmed by the darkness of your own struggles. I have a deep appreciation for and belief in the support and growth that comes from human connection. Counseling is a way to connect with someone to take a look at your struggles, values and goals and dive into them without judgement and with support.
I have worked with clients seeking career coaching, anxiety, trauma, depression and other types of professional counseling as well as many topics in between. My approach is based on your goals. I have training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, body therapy, career counseling, MI, EMDR and behaviorism.
