I provide holistic, strength-based, trauma-informed and culturally competent therapy. I believe that the therapeutic relationship be built on trust, empathy, compassion and acceptance without judgment in order to create a safe space for clients to not only authentically connect with themselves and others, but to embody vulnerability. I utilize a systemic approach to look into inter-generational patterns within families and work from an emotionally focused therapeutic approach.
I assist clients in gaining awareness of their emotions, increase their contentment within themselves, help foster connected & secure relationships and strive for clients to develop awareness into their negative cycles/patterns. I also provide Medical Family Therapy to those who are experiencing chronic or terminal illness within their family.
My role is to assist in families’ process & discuss the impact of illness within the couple or family system as well as incorporate biological, psychological, social & spiritual levels into the work. It's my hope to be able to help my clients as they journey into themselves, break down their walls & push their boundaries to become their best versions.
